What is Fat Rock Inc? The short answer, we are the best recording studio in middle Tennessee. There is alot more to us then just that, so here is just a bit of the history of Fat Rock Inc.

Welcome to the world of Fat Rock Inc, founded in 2004 by local musician Wane Tango who really just wanted to record his and friends music, but didn't have the cash to pay someone an incredible amount of money to have his music recorded. After graduating from the Recording Workshop, he realized that his true calling was to be a recording engineer. Returning back to Upper Cumberland Area Tango started working with Ben Leatherman, also a local musican and proven engineer. So they joined together and pooled resources, talent and knowledge. They bought all of the equipment needed to make a recording (plus much more), and learned how to use it. Next thing they knew, they had a recording studio. Ever since, Fat Rock Inc. has been trying to help the little guys and the local bands, get a step ahead of the game.

Fat Rock Inc has since went on to be a force in the music community, blazing a path in the Upper Cumberland. From recording albums, demos and EPs, to lining up state and regional tours, consistently bringing in top regional and national acts, hosting events, CD releases, artist meet and greets, and some of the best damn shows going on anywhere. Every year Fat Rock Inc has stepped up its game and continues to grow as a company.

We would love anyone and everyone to come join the Fat Rock Family. If you are a musican and you need some help, give us a shout. We are planning on doing more than just recording demos/albums for local bands. We want to be the one stop shop for all of your promotional needs such as CD art, poster art, promotional flyers, helping you connect with the right people at local venues, band photos, T-shirts, stickers, etc. Pretty much whatever you can dream up.

We would love to thank everyone that has helped us along the way. If not for you then we surely would have given up or lost hope. I don't need to mention names, everyone knows who they are. We could never thank you enough for helping us live our dreams, and giving the local musicans the opportunities that we have been able to offer them.
